Not only is it the preferred way for most adults to view content, but it gives you a unique opportunity to present yourself in the first person to viewers. While video tours of your listings or neighborhoods are always great, there is so much more to add to your video marketing strategy. Check out these outside-of-the-box ideas to give your content an extra boost!
1. Get Personal
People love personal content. It gives them a look inside your life and makes you easier to relate to. Our own Instagram account can definitely attest to this, as we notice exponentially more engagement on posts starring us!
So how do you make your social media say, "It's not just business, it's personal, too"? Try doing team videos! Every month, introduce a member of your team or someone you work closely with. Give them a little bio, how they contribute to your success, and how your relationship helps provide the best service to your clients!
2. Behind-the Scenes Footage
Let's face it, being a real estate agent is tough work! Most people only see your friendly smile and amazing customer service, but have no idea of all the little things that you do when they're not around. Consider making short videos showcasing some of the special "behind-the-scenes" things you do to make their experience working with you one-of-a-kind.
3. Themed Videos
Whether it be Halloween or National Tequila Day, everyone loves an excuse to celebrate! Find some holidays or obscure celebratory days and make some short, fun videos to show your followers. National Coloring Book Day? Bring some adult coloring books to the office and show your team de-stressing together with some crayons. National Prosecco Day? Bring some bubbly to your open house and do an Instagram Live of your guests enjoying a toast.
Everyday is National Prosecco Day if you try hard enough.
4. Show Off Your Neighborhood Expertise
This one is a double whammy. Not only will your neighborhood review videos be informative and fun for your followers to watch, but they will also position you as a neighborhood expert they can trust. Make a video showcasing your top 5 ice cream shops in your service area. Pick a local school and talk about their programming and amenities. This one has endless opportunities!
Video marketing can be some of the most fun advertising you do! Give yourself a chance to get creative and show your clients that you are energetic, think outside the box, and are not afraid to put yourself out there.
